consultation, and performance ensembles for the
Triangle community.
It is our mission to provide people of all ability
levels a musical avenue for expression and

The ComMUSICate program combines innovative
music therapy and speech and language therapy
techniques. We address emotions, communication,
and social interaction through music, role-playing,
and a theme-based curriculum. Children and young
adults of all ability levels are welcome.
INTRODUCING...the OSSIA ROCK BAND, a
program for adults with developmental differences.
Participants learn different instruments, how to better
communicate with each other, and how to really
ROCK!
NEW PROGRAMS for Older Adults!
The Creative Mind Workshops: designed to keep the
mind and voice active
- Sharing Memories Through Art and Music
Therapy, a collaboration with art therapist Eva
Miller: Reminisce with songs from decades past
and create your own memory art box
- Intro to Composition and Music Theory: Learn
basic theory to compose your own piece in this
workshop
- Songwriting Workshop: Write and record your
own song (makes a special gift!)
Ongoing Music Therapy Groups: typically 8-12
consecutive weekly sessions
- Sing for Speech: Rhythmic vocal play and
singing to address speech needs such as those
present with Parkinson's and stroke
- Rock-n-Roll Band: Learn various instruments
and songs you love. Join this fun group to
express yourself, keep mind and body active,
and maybe even go on tour!
